Mental Fitness for Teens (live online)
According to data from the American Psychological Association, stress levels in teens rival that of adults. In this competitive world, teens report academic stress (grades and getting into a good college), social stress, family discord, stress from global events like Covid, and more. As parents, we want the best for our children, we don’t want them to get stressed but we do want to prepare them to face challenges.
Stress is an evolutionary response linked to survival and has kept us alive as a human race. Effectively managing it is key to a fulfilling life.
In this 4-session course, the teens will develop a better understanding of stress, its evolutionary basis and our de facto ways for dealing with stress. They will also learn several scientifically proven method to strengthen mental fitness and manage stress.
