Intro to Personal Finance for Teens (live online)
We invite your middle and high schoolers as we journey about 10 years into the future when they have chosen a career path, finished college, and are about to start their first job. What are the decisions they face at that time? What does their paycheck look like? Where would they live and how do they decide that? What can they afford and how do they budget for it? This two-session course covers the basics of personal finance. The first session is one of interactive learning followed by applying this to their own scenarios as homework. They will then return for the second session as their future selves and present their findings and decisions to the group. During the Great Shut-In of 2020 here’s an opportunity for your student to learn some real-world skills.
